Nancy Joann MacKinnon Osborne

OSBORNE Nancy Joann MacKinnon Osborne, age 69, passed away Saturday,
May 7, 2005. She was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School. Mrs. Osborne
was a contributor to the Ellen Paine Odum Library in Moultrie, GA. She was
once the High Commissioner/ Convener of The Clan MacKinnon Society of North
America, Inc. and was a member of the Florida Genealogical Society. Mrs.
Osborne was also proud to be in a 7th generation Floridian Pioneer Family.
She was also Chairman of the Clans & Societies of the Jacksonville
Highland Games of Jacksonville. Mrs. Osborne wrote and published an
International Newsletter called "The Shankbone" for the Clan
MacKinnon. She retired from Barnett Bank after 25 years of service. She is
predeceased by her father Clarence Emery MacKinnon. Survivors include her
husband of over 50 years, George "Ozzie" Osborne; mother Ellouise
Sharman MacKinnon; brother, Clinton Eastman MacKinnon, Sr.; 2 sisters, Sally
MacKinnon Rorer & Alexandria MacKinnon Pratt; aunt M'Elizabeth MacK innon
and uncle Clyde D. Sharman, Jr; and numerous nieces, nephews and godchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Friday, May 13, 2005 in the chapel of
HARDAGE-GIDDENS FUNERAL HOME, 729 S. Edgewood Ave. with interment to follow
in Riverside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM
