HEBRON BAPTIST CHURCH CEMETERY aka HOLLOWAY CEMETERY

 

Parcel #26-08-24-0000-0080-0000, 5 acres, part of the NE 1/4 of NE 1/4 OF SEC.  26, TWP 8, RNG 24, Deed Book 122 P 266.  Take HWY 100 to Florahome, turn north on Coral Farms Road, and go approximately 4.25 miles to Tinsley Road.  Turn right on Tinsley Road, and go approximately .75 miles to Redeye Road.  Turn right, follow Redeye Road and it’s extension approximately .7 miles to cemetery. 

 

This cemetery is now within the boundary of the Etoniah Creek State Forest.  A Cultural Resource Survey was published in 1999.  The cemetery has recently been surveyed by the State of Florida and tall metal corner markers have been installed around the 5 acre cemetery which is situated on a sandy knoll forested by sand pine and scrub oak.  There are seven marked graves and five unmarked graves that were identifiable on 12/6/1999.  RICE CREEK QUAD.  N 29o 46.464 W 81o 051.817 (Neglected).

 

Etoniah Creek State Forest is a Wildlife Management Area.  Limited hunting is allowed.  Here is copy of the latest 2016-2017 regulations.  If you visit, please do your due safety diligence.
